US Passport · Full preparation

US PassportRight the First Time

One wrong field or an off-standard photo sends you back to the end of the line. We prepare every part of your application and check it all before you go to your appointment.

What we prepare

Every application type has its own requirements

First-time, renewal or a child's passport — each one calls for different forms and proof. We build the right packet for yours.

First application (DS-11)

For anyone who has never held a US passport. We complete the DS-11, review your proof of citizenship and assemble the full packet.

Renewal by mail (DS-82)

If you meet the renewal requirements, we prepare the DS-82 and organize the mailing — no in-person visit needed.

Passports for minors

Children under 16 need both parents present and extra documentation. We explain it all and hand you a complete packet.

2x2 photos on the spot

We take and print your photo to State Department standards. A rejected photo is the single most common cause of delay.

Supporting documents

Certified translations, certified copies and apostilles for the foreign records that go with your application.

How it works

Three steps to a ready application

You handle showing up. We handle the rest.

  1. 01Step 1

    Tell us your case

Let us know if it's a first application, a renewal or a child's passport. In minutes we identify the form and the documents you'll need.

  2. 02Step 2

    We prepare everything

We complete the form, take your 2x2 photo, review your proof of citizenship, translate or apostille whatever is needed and book your appointment.

  3. 03Step 3

You show up with a complete packet

Arrive at the acceptance facility with everything checked, submit your application and track it without surprises.

Pontal Brazil is not an official passport acceptance facility: we prepare the paperwork and you submit it in person.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the US passport

Is Pontal an official passport office?

No. We prepare all the paperwork and book your appointment, but you submit the application yourself, in person, at an authorized facility such as the post office (USPS).

Can I renew by mail?

It depends. Renewing with the DS-82 only works if your previous passport meets certain conditions. We review your case and tell you which form applies.

Do I need to translate my foreign birth certificate?

Sometimes. If a supporting document is in another language or there's a discrepancy in your name, a certified translation is required — and we do those.

How long does the government take to issue it?

It depends. Processing time is set by the State Department and changes through the year. What we control is your side: a complete packet avoids paperwork delays.

What about children?

Children under 16 must appear with both parents or guardians and use the DS-11 form. We prepare the paperwork and explain exactly who needs to be there.

How much does it cost?

Government fees are paid separately to the State Department. Our preparation service is priced on its own — contact us for a quote.
